when can we expect the new gaming forum?
 

Hi guys,

The TalkBoard, about a month ago, passed a resolution to put in a new gaming forum here on FT but it hasn't happened yet. Any ideas when we can expect it?

I vote for the 8.8.08 start as discussed on the thread in TB. :)

Gaming forum? :confused: OP is apparently confused as the TB approved no such forum.

TB did, however recently pass a motion to create a Gaming Loyalty Program forum as was announced in this post by Spiff.

Well whatever you want to call it, there isn't one yet.

That wasn't my name for the new forum but rather the one given when the TB motion was passed.

Could it be the management is putting things on hold due to FT's upgrading to a new version of vBulletin?

On May 31st, 2008, TB passed the motion to expand graphics capabilities in four chosen forums. The motion has been put on hold indefinitely for the above reason.

I wonder if the creation of a new forum is falling into the same category. Not sure if forum creation involves the same level of (technical) implementation as enabling graphic viewing though.
