New posts not registering on forum front pages
 

If I look at any of the forums, then the last posts appear to have been made about an hour ago. However, if I click on some of the threads, newer posts have been made, but are not showing on the forum listing.

I noticed that too. The irony, though, is that because of this fault this very thread does not show on the Technical forum thread listing either. Had to do a search to find it.

I knew there would be a thread if I searched.

Don't know if it's part of the cause of the issue, or as a result, but the post time on search is an hour earlier than in the thread (real time).

I'm wondering how many other threads have been started on this issue :D

Yeah, I just figured this out myself. Is it affecting all forums? I know the Alaska Airlines forum is plagued with this glitch...

It is. I'm having to copy and paste (or do searches on my own threads) to find threads like this. Packed up around 5.5 hours ago...

All forums seem to be affected, started at approx 8:45 GMT. I did a search for 'post' and 'posts' in this forum. Not too many duplicates.....yet !

Ah, the americans have noticed... now 7 threads or so pointing out the problems ;)

We tend to wake up late over here, and by the time we get our lazy butts to a computer, it's probably like 9:30... :D

This might be a fun experiment in FT usage...

I'm surprised that more of the current top threads in OMNI don't have mentions of the problem...

Unless your top threads are different from mine. (Possible, I guess).

One interesting thing is that you can't "quote" a post from this thread and respond to it. That is because all the posts are from "after" the cockup.

But you can quote and respond to older posts...

That this thread doesn't exist and it's all a figment of my imagination. Funny, I don't remember dropping acid this morning...

My top thread in OMNI is over 7 hours old.

I can confirm the inability to quote posts that happened after this started reported by notsosmart above. And that it extends to other forums such as TS&S. Very weird.
