Notifications have stopped!

I haven't received notification of threads and forums to which I've subscribed for over a week now.

First, do you have [email protected] in your address book and/or the list of senders that should have their e-mail go through to your inbox? If not you should add it. Also have you double checked the notifications column at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/subscription.php to make sure they are still set correctly?

If that doesn't work, there may be a problem with your e-mail not accepting the notifications. I just got my latest set of notifications today around 3 a.m. (EDT), and have been receiving them every day for the last week. If the e-mails aren't being accepted, include the domain (the part after the @) for your e-mail address, so the tech support team can check out that as well.

EDIT: It's possible that they're being rejected because of the internetbrands in the header info (Received: from mx5.internetbrands.com ([67.201.16.50])) that's in the notification e-mails.

Thanks for your answer ed1. I wasn't notified of your reply! :)
I have written to [email protected] so hopefully something can be done about it. Nothing has changed with my email preferences and I get normal emails.
Puzzled!

I have the same problem.

The tech team has run some tests and have been unable to duplicate this issue. braefoot and sean, could you let me know what email clients you are each using?

I use Hotmail, if that's what you're asking. I checked my settings, but they appear to be fine.

I reported a post, on the AC forum, and that email didn't come either.

I'm using Outlook. :)

FYI I also use Outlook and since yesterday have been getting e-mail notifications in strange batches. I just got notification a moment ago of a post made 15 hours ago (having gotten a lot of other notifications in the meantime including one of a post this morning on the same thread) and it's even possible it's a duplicate notification. Sorry, I don't archive them. ;)

I changed my email address in profile settings from the one I normally use, to my business one (both hotmail addys). Then sent a RBP. I received it immediately.

Then switched it back to the one that I use regularly, stp, sent another RBP and it never came.

Hope this info helps. I can switch it to my secondary email account until it gets sorted out, but unusual that I can't send to the account I've used for years and years.

FWIW I've checked my inbox this morning and find I'm receiving some posts but not others from a subscribed thread, i.e. received one at 11:35 p.m., didn't receive posts at 12:09 a.m. and 1:43 a.m., received post at 7:13 a.m., didn't receive post of 7:19 a.m.

PM on the way with details.

Cheers,
Fredd
