Freezing after posting using Firefox is back again
 

This was a problem a while back, but it seemed to go away.

It's returned. I post using "Post Quick Reply" and it freezes -- however if I open another tab or window and go to the thread, my response has appeared. Seems to be pretty common, but not every time.

This is with Firefox version 2.0.0.14.

It's been an ongoing problem this weekend. I've reported it in the System Timing Out/Slowness thread.

I suspect all the similar issues popping up over the past weekend (can't sent PM, Subscription notification delay,...etc) are all siblings to the general "system performance" problems. Plus all the problems seem to be "highly active" at the turn of each month, especially during that particular weekend. ;)

I am experiencing this "freezing" issue with Firefox 3. What seems to happen is that after hitting "Submit Reply" or "Post Quick Reply", the browser is directed to a page with an ad on it. If I select the address in the browser and hit enter, I am then directed to the refreshed page with my post.

This happened to me a while back, maybe a year ago or more.
