Missing People's Posts vs Search Results
I've recently noticed a strange behavior with the search. On a couple of occasions, the search function has returned several results and when I went to view the thread the person's post who appeared in the search is not listed anywhere in the thread.
I know they were in the thread at one time because I can see that the person is quoted with the hyperlink to show the post intact but the link just returns to you the thread. |

In the search result pages, if you see a trash icon to the far right side in those post columns, those posts had been deleted. In theory, they shouldn't have been seen by the FT general members, but thanks to the bugs in the new search feature (:rolleyes:), they are still visible in search results but not in the actual threads. It has been reported in the legend Search Problems Thread (Post #70) and IB hasn't fixed it yet, as far as I know. |
I haven't seen any trash icons in the search results window so as far as I can tell they weren't deleted.
