Wireless FlyerTalk
I use my BlackBerry to read FT when on the road sometimes. I noticed that when I look at threads, it only brings up 1 post at a time - so, if I'm looking at a thread that has 100 posts, it's 100 pages worth of reading to get to the end. Is there any way to create a link that takes you to the last post? Or maybe dummy it down to do a relatively low-end almost graphics free version of wireless FT so more info can be processed quickly?
Thanks! |
I rarely use my Blackberry for FT... too frustrating to navigate.
But, would it work if you changed your Flyertalk option to show threads "Linear-Newer First"? |
Wouldn't that just make the last thread first (which is a good suggestion?) - but I guess I was more interested to know if there was a low/no-graphics version like regular FT where you could have 15 posts per page & choose the page number to go to...

bhatnasx,
No... the option I mentioned actually does not change the order of threads... that newest thread posted to always is first.... This option changes the default for how posts within a thread are shown.... so the last post is now first within a thread... I thought that was what you wanted... so you could get to the last post quickly. My bad. |
bhatnasx - I saw your post in the election debate thread & remembered seeing a way to change this setting. Found this thread in the search for the relevant post.
It's a few years old, but this might work. |
