flyertalk redirect to Foxmovies??

For about 4 hours this afternoon, I was unable to access flyertalk. Automatically redirected to foxmovies.com. Anybody else experience this? I checked other frequently visited sites and noticed that quite a few other random sites did the same. AA, CO no problem, Delta sent me to Fox. Google, no problem, Farecompare, back to Fox. CBS sports OK, ask.com went to Fox. I cleared cookies, deleated temporary files, restored to a previous day and no change in the problem. Then as quickley as it started, it stopped and everything was just fine. Any ideas of what I just went through ??

Dick Cheney just took over your computer in the name of national security. ;)

maybe you had a bot get installed on your computer.

Run adaware and/or spybot and see what it comes up with.

Since this isn't related to travel technology I'll move it to the boards technical issues forum.

Another, far more likely culprit, is the DNS (domain name server) supplied by your ISP. A DNS is the computer that takes website names and converts them to the proper IP address. This problem has been the cause of mysterious redirections for me in the past. If it went away, I wouldn't worry, but if it comes back, you might consider querying your ISP.
