Quick Reply Issues

Ok I posted a thread early this morning and the text is gone however I cant figure out how to delete the thread/post because I reposted and I have a duplicate thread going with no text. Theres a box that appears at the bottom looks like a posting box and says "Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply." However I cant seem to locate these icons.

Heres the messed up thread I want to delete.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Mike

First of all and most important: Welcome to FlyerTalk.

Mike, no worries, we all have you covered. I actually am able to see text on both threads, so not sure what the problem might have been. Anyway, I have moved the thread you mention that was messed up to the Misposted Threads forum and you can see that thread here:
http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=721205

Your other thread is still within the Trip Reports forum and I think you'll have fun adding to that report and contributing more in the future with FlyerTalk. A few things: I like how you have added links to such things as that Fair. I had not heard of it before so i learned something.

I do have a question ... which is likely in the next part: Who won the baseball game and how did Felix do in pitching?

And finally. I did click to the link for your pictures and it says: Error
Page Not Found Please check the link or URL and try again. You might want to recheck that link.

Hope this helps and again, a warm welcome to FlyerTalk.

Cheers,
Randy

Hi Randy,

Well Its good you could see the report besides it was basically a double report.

When I posted the thread I had posted the same thread 20-30 mins earlier and it didn't show in the forum I guess the mods had to screen it first because message said the post looked like spam. Anyways after I posted it I had to edit the thread after realizing my link didn't work and something happened, and all the sudden i couldn't edit the thread anymore.

I then looked in the forum all the 2 threads i posted earlier RNO-SFO-SAN & SAN-DEN-RNO showed up in the forum. So naturally i wanted to delete the thread I had tryed to edit becuase it is a doube thread but couldn't.

In short I cant see the text of that thread and I don't see an edit button on that thread but I can on other threads. Lastly I didnlt understand what it meant to click Quick reply Icons.

I will try again to fix it though thanks.

Felix wasn't lights out but got out jams If I remember correctly and won 4-3 with a go ahead run off of Trevor Hoffman in the 9th It was a nail biter.

Mike
