Signature not appearing in one thread
 

This is not really a complaint as much as it is curiosity. Why does my signature not appear on my posts in the FlyerTalk Scoops the World thread?

It does appear on every other thread I post on. True, "Scoops" is locked, but others who have changed their signature after it was locked have it appear there.

If at the time you post you have no signature, the default setting is to not check the show signature box (makes sense - there is nothing to show). If you subsequently add a signature, it will only automatically appear for posts with the show signature box checked. You can manually change this post by post - not sure if that is possible in a locked thread (probably not).

Whereas, any posts with show signatures enabled gets updated with changes to your signature.

I'm guessing that when that thread was first started you had no signature, and subsequently added one. Looking at your final post on that thread, for example, there is a signature there.

I guess that is possible (although I thought I always had a signature). Anyhow, I just checked and all my posts made on that thread after July 30 in the evening have a signature and all those prior to then do not.

The above could have been the cause as described. It is also possible that you inadvertently unchecked the "Show your signature" box when posting, I see that it is unchecked for the particular post you are referring to.
