mouseover menus prevent page loading (IE)

I apologize if this has already been posted.

I'm experiencing this prolem only when I use IE (version 6), never with Firefox. I've reproduced this on several machines. I click on a link (such as a thread) and while the new page is loading it happens that my mouse [accidently] hovers over the mouseover menu options (Home, Forums, Members, Extras, Store, Help). Whenever that happens the page new page fails to load. (If I do a refresh it works fine) Please let me know if I need to provide any additional info.

This has been going on for ages and there's no fix, at least that I know of.

You eventually learn not to click and move your mouse when you're in a certain area of the page.

Or you switch to Firefox and the problem goes away.

True, but my IT department just may not like that :)
