Entering text in a message, and input disappears

I have a habit of starting to type my reply to a post as soon as the screen starts displaying, but before the ads are up. This has worked fine forever.

Yesterday, somthing changed (perhaps my browser, now that I think of it, I downloaded MSN search tool bar) and now I get the first 3-10 characters typed then further input is sgut off and I have to click my mouse in the text area before continuing.

Is it an ad doing something funny, or a change to FT, or my new tool bar?

It sounds like something is changing your browsers focus at the end of the page load. I haven't been able to duplicate this on pages. Can you tell where the focus is moving to when this happens? Maybe it is changing focus to the MSN search input field now since you mention that change?

It is fully reproducible, but I can not figure out where the text is actually going. I am willing to assume it is my new browser add-in, and not FT.
