Got a PM from a reporter

Don't know if this is the right place, please do what you want to with this post.

Anyway I've got a PM from someone claiming to be a reporter from the Wall Street Journal. The poster has no post counts.

What is the best way to approach this? Should I be reporting it to Flyer talk and if so, how do i go about it?

I'm assuming the reporter contacted you because you posted something he was interested in learning more about.

If that's the case, try contacting the mod of that board via PM to see if they know more about it. If not, they can contact the HOM and might be able to get more info.

If there's no mod, contact one of the senior mods.

If you don't mind talking to the reporter I wouldn't have any problems if the "reporter" were to provide a legitimate wsj.com email address.
