How can I find my posts?

Post a thread like this, and then press "find all posts by Bollinge"

Threads Disappearing

I think there may be a problem with the system. I posted some comments on a thread in the United forum. Don't remember the topic title. I went back and I can't find it. I searched on my user name and it doesn't show any postings there for me in the last week. So I searched all of Flyertalk and I still can't find those postings.

Is there some tool I should be using other than Search to find that?

Click on your username and click on Find more posts by ..

However if that still yielded negative result, either your post was deleted or moved to a sooper sekret area :D

Ok, took a bit of looking around, but I believe I have found what was causing this to reoccur. All should work as it had in the past now, the problem was that cached old searches were not being cleaned out in a timely manner and it is now back on an hourly cleanup schedule.

Thanks, Tim.

I too have had several posts disappear, and was reluctant to repost them because I was once suspended for reposting a post that had disappeared without notice.

What is the appropriate thing to do when we notice that a post disappears?

This topic is less about missing topics and more about a search issue that was making it hard to find recent posts. When a post cannot be found it is usually because it has either been moved to another forum or deleted by a moderator, so it is probably best to check in with the moderator(s) of the forum you had posted the thread in to see where it may have been moved and why before reposting. Thanks,
