Regarding FT Premium subscribers, does the "+" sign next to a member's name in a list of people currently visiting a forum, denote "Premium" subscriber status?

Thanks
Jim

The "+" sign just indicates that the person is on your FlyerTalk Buddy list.

Oh wow! Even though I've subscribed to InsideFlyer, I wasn't aware of the existence of a premium version of FT!
Just claimed my ad-free FT experience. Thanks!

Sometimes you just login to the forums and threads you regularly watch and don't notice other features.

I just found that I could use my insideflyer account to use the premium version :D

I signed up for the non-online Inside Flyer subscription (via the link for the subscription for Freddies voting) - is it still possible to get FT Premium as a paper issue subscriber or is that only available for online subscribers?

Yes, you need to go to: https://www.insideflyer.com/signup/request_account.php

There you can claim your online access to the IF.com website. You can then use the normal means to sign up for Premium. Thanks,

Thanks, Tim - I'll have to wait until I get an actual magazine in the mail then...

OMG saw those horrible ads for five minutes it took for me to find the info how to renew and before I got it done. Peace have now returned....

I renewed earlier this year, but still get ads. I only notice it when I´m at internet cafes, as the ads are quite annoying and really slow page loads. :(

I signed up for IF.com (several days ago) and still get the "We could not find an active InsideFlyer.com user account that matches the info you have provided." error message. I can log into IF with no issues.

Suggestions?

You should be good to go now. If you still see ads, try logging out and logging back in to reset your cookies.

Mikel, Thanks for the help. All is wonderfully ad free!

I got the renewal invitation e-mail on March 9, renewed immediately online so thought I was all set for the no-ad online version to continue.

Logging on today, I see the 'Welcome, Roger' message, but there are ads all over the place.

Am I alone?

Curiously, the welcome back message says 'you last visited: Yesterday at 11.39 p.m.' (GMT) yet the so-called unread messages go back way before then.

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 1:32 am.
