When you post a quick reply are you automatically subscribed to the thread? I know that I should know this by now but I don't. Thanks!

I would expect that you would not be subscribed in that case unless you have your Default Thread Subscription Mode set to always subscribe in MyFlyerTalk > Edit Options

This was set to instant email. It works for Reply/w Quote but not for Quick Reply. Am I missing the whole point of Quick Reply?

Quick reply can be useful when a user is on a slow connection. Otherwise I don't think they are very useful for most people. Apparently from what you are saying the quick reply does not use the expanded options settings that are included on the full reply form so it does not work for the auto thread subscription. Thanks for the heads up on this.
