 emoticon displays improperly in Firefox!

Eek!!! I'm using Firefox version 1.5.0.2 and 1.6rc1 of Firefox and the eek emoticon is displaying improperly. I see the emoticon and then this text:

EEK!" class="inlineimg" border="0">

It used to work, so I think that something changed on FT that Firefox does not like. Perhaps there's a missing quotation mark in the alt text or something? I see this behaviour on every Firefox browser I've tried (5+ machines so far). Internet Exploder seems to display it fine. All other emoticons seem fine.

It's working fine in Firefox 1.0.7

Never seen this problem, been using every version since the betas, tried it now on 1.5.0.3 and 2.0a and it displays just fine...

Perhaps you are running an extension that changes something? Try disabling some extensions and see if that fixes it?

I second ScottC's suggestion that maybe an extension is messing with something?

It works fine in 1.5.0.3 for me. What happens if you upgrade? What does the HTML from 'View/Source' look like? What OS are you running?

What is similar about those 5 machines that might be unique to the rest of the world?

I think I figured it out. I've got a beta Firefox extension installed that is, apparently, in need of more testing and development. Thanks for the head check, everyone!
