Please get it fixed for us, Mikel! Opera and IE 6.0 are both painfully slow on my buffet of wireless devices.

Now I just have to figure out why it shows both my old phone and new phone (with different spellings of BlackBerry, no less!) in the header line.

I think I saw a setting. I'll figure it out.

Tim, here's a weird one. Since wireless came back online, whenever I try to post from my Treo 650 when I press "Submit" my Treo crashes and soft resets.

I have no problem posting on other BBs that use the same software as FT -- but on those it's the "regular" boards not the /wap version.

mobile account help

Hello

I was changing some options in my flyertalk mobile account today, and
apparently changed the display mode or something. I changed something that enabled a very very simple WAP mode that I can not use from my iPhone (has text prompts that would be used from a simple number-only keypad on a phone, no links to click). I would like to get back to the HTML type pages that display nicely on my iPhone.

Is someone able to reset my mobile account to default display
settings? (I don't need a password reset, I can use the non-mobile
site just fine)

Thanks
Jim

omahajim, would you be able to post a digital photo of what you are seeing?

I gather that you chose the 'Series 60' WiStyle which is designed for Series 60 devices. This style should be compatible with all WAP 2.0 devices except for the iPhone (as it seems). I will inform the admin on how to correct the issue that you are experiencing.

That's correct, I couldn't remember the name of the option I selected. iPhone must be the only device of its type that cannot display/provide a keyboard in order to select one of the menu choice numbers. The iPhone's keyboard will only appear in the browser if there is an HTML text entry box in a form, it won't work for the numerical input styles of the series 60 menu.

I don't have another digital camera with me at the moment (other than the phone) so I will see what I can do.

Thanks
Jim

The talkboard elections announcement contains improperly coded linked urls. As such, the wap site is unable to translate these regular ft links into wap ft links. Can you examine this issue and edit the post accordingly?
