MrMyFlyerTalk Link problem using Firefox 1.5
Whenever I click on the MyFlyerTalk link it takes me to the correct page. But, after it loads it automatically forwards me to the generic forums page. I'm using Firefox 1.5. Has anyone else experienced this? It's driving me nuts.
Addition: Shoot, I just found that it does that whenever I click on a thread. It initially takes me to that thread, and it then automatically forwards me to the generic forums page. I have to click on the back button and then hit the escape key after the thread loads so it doesn't forward me to the forums page. It's driving me nuts. I tried deleting the cookies related to FT, but that didn't help. Any ideas? |
I tested both the MyFt page and thread pages in FF 1.5 on the Mac OS X and Windows XP platforms and I was not able to duplicate this problem. Is it possible that you have some FF plugins that could be causing this?

Tim, thanks for taking a look. I have the Roboform and Refcontrol extensions, but that's it. I can't imagine Roboform would be causing it, but perhaps Refcontrol is. I'm at work now and don't have my laptop with me, but I'll try shutting Refcontrol off and seeing if that works.

I went ahead and added www.flyertalk.com into RefControl as 'sending referrer' and that solved the problem. I'm not sure why it would have caused this to happen, but I'm glad to have it resolved.

Glad to hear that worked out for you. :)
