TalkBoard election - number of votes?

The TalkBoard ballot states, "you may vote for up to 4 candidates", but elsewhere we've been told that it should be five votes, since there are five vacancies to be filled. Could you guys clarify with Randy whether it's supposed to be four or five? (It might say four because that was the case last year.)

Thanks,
FewMiles..

Ditto - I didn't submit my vote once it gave me the you "only have 4" vote error message when I picked 5 candidates.

Yes, I noticed that as well...

I voted for 4, as directed. If this is a glitch, will we be permitted for vote for one more candidate?

This has been updated to 5 candidates. Fortunately very few ballots have been cast... anyone that would like to recast their vote PM me (Tim at WebFlyer) and I will clear your vote from the db allowing you to revote. Thanks,

Thanks - ballot cast :)

Thanks, Tim for the quick response. Ballot has been recast with 5 votes.

John or Admin - as per my post 76 here -- the first time I went to look at voting page it told me I had already voted. Had not even seen the vote page, much less checked any names.

Was this just a software glitch that affected Candidates?

FWIW, I went to the page as well. While I did not try to vote, it seemed to be fine!

Strange, it doesn't look like you have voted though... could be that you have it cached from last year though that would be strange. Try clearing your cache on your browser, quit your browser, restart it and go back to that page. Let me know how that works out for you.

Edit: On a second look it appears that you have voted ozstamps, possibly accidentally? I will PM you...

I only voted for two candidates, my choice. I went back in to see if there was a ballot tally and got the message that I already voted.

Obviously, I knew this........But, if someone votes for less than max and then decided to add more (up to max), I guess that requires an email to Tim also?

Three guesses who they were. :)

Thanks Tim ..... yes it was a glitch it seemed, and all cleared now. ^

And two excellent choices, I'd say. Yet I admittedly wish that you would also have found three more selections you could support from the long list of candidates, even if I was not one of them. My difficulty is in limiting it to just five! :)

Yes, just drop me a PM if this is the case with you...
