PM notification but no pm
 

I get emails saying i have new pms, but when i log on there are no pms there! 'sup with that?

Yep. I got two of these this morning as well. Sent an email to the staff. We'll see what they have to say, but this could be related I'm guessing.

Check the date on the email notification...

The PM notification no doubt refers to an old PM that you've already read.

So.. bingo.

I got PM's, emails and report bad posts notifications.

I thought S.P.A.M. was under invasion ;)

Mystery solved! Old dates. Bingo indeed.

Getting a bunch of PE notifications dated today, but when I hit link, there are no new messages???

Not sure what's going on.

Yes, in additon to the month's worth of updates I recieved today I got a PM notification from August 11 for a PM that is still not in my inbox and I have never seen.

No idea what is behind the pms that you haven't seen -- I can tell you that most of what you are getting is very outdated.

Yep. All are from the last month or so. By the way, they're still coming, so it looks like the block did not work. ;)

same here, just got two email dated 30. AUG. , but no PM´s. Also no PM´s bevore from this flywertalkers mentioned in the mail.

I've gone from 5 messages in my inbox to 350. All old notifications. :mad:

Really sorry folks -- when I found the problem and fixed it I didn't realize that the system had queued up all the old messages.

So, is it fixed? I had 8 of them this morning. And a couple more came in later.
Last time was 9:17 AM PDT. I would guess they are all old ones, but I have
no way of telling.

I just got an email from almost 2 weeks ago. It's not a notification but an actual email from a FTer.

I don't think you've fixed it quite yet. I got 8 more notices at 12:47 PDT.

I just downloaded about 300 notifications of posts and PMs dating back to July 22.

I sure hope I won't be getting any more. My "delete" button finger is getting tired. :D

And here I thought that I had suddenly become quite popular. :)

Good thing is that I subscribe to all threads with no email notification, that way they only show on MyFlyerTalk ;)

yep, another 8 emails in the last 3 h.! And now I see that´s all the old PM´s up to 2 weeks ago.

I got about 50 "Reply to Post..." notifications today between around 11:30 AM and 1:39 PM. While I had received the PM notification before, I think there was some sort of queuing problem in the system as I had been noticing that I was not seeing response notifications for many of my postes over the past few weeks. The good news is that problem now appears to be fixed.

20 or so of them arrived in my inbox last night (CET).

Me too.

Maybe the system was constipated and finally took a laxative.... :D :eek: :o
