Couple of Technical Questions
First - I just changed my signature (way to much time on my hands ) and now all my old posts, which had a different signature, have my new signature. Does this have to happen?
Second - How do I copy a specific numbered response ( not sure if the whole post is a post or a thread, so don't want to use the term wrong) into another post. Third - Is this the right forum for these type of questions? |

Let me try and be more specific. Let's say someone (A) posts a response to a question, and that response is number 6 of 50 posts. Then at another time/forum, someone (B) asks a similar questions where (A)'s response was an appropriate answer. How do I copy the link specifically from A's number 6 post, not the whole post. I hope this is clearer. Then I can paste the link into my response: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...86&postcount=1 Is that any help? |
Thanks, we're getting closer

To fine tune - When I clicked on the link I got to the post, (yeah) but I did not know which forum it came from or from which thread it was. Is there a way to copy the link so you know this, and yet still be in the specific post? |

Thanks for all the info. I'll play around to see what I can do.
