Problem with Internet Explorer on this site

For the last week I have had to continually refresh the page to get posts to come up. I keep on getting "operation aborted". I have mentioned this on the BA site and a couple of others have been having the same problems.

Very ocassionally I get the "cannot find server" message, which is resolved by refresh.

Also been seeing a few weird things incl. some of the above.

Also get about 10 times in last 2 weeks a message saying "access denied" or something like that, with a loud PING, but page loads anyway.

I have a slightly different symptom. While the page is loading, if my mouse pointer goes over the menus at the top of the page (Home, Forum, Members, Extras, Store, Help), then the menu drops down but the rest of the page stops loading and remains blank.

I think I have isolated the "operation aborted" error.

I get it whenever I mouse-over an item in the main (blue) menu bar [Home, Forums, Memebers, Extra] while the page is still loading. I think it has problems invoking the dropdown menu while the page is loading.

Yes thanks! You definitely have solved the problem I was having!

Thanks for the heads up. We are looking at this.

A temporary work around would be to use the Firefox browser which is not affected by this problem.

Thanks,
John
