End of Daylight Savings -- has this been reflected in FT?

I notice that the time for my last visit is updated to the Eastern Standard Time Zone (as per my personal settings) but it seems like all of the posts are time-stamped in EDT. Is this just my screen or is this a problem with others? Thanks.

I haven't been paying attention to my last visited date, but the time stamp on posts is correct for me, no problems.

I just checked my setting and I have it set to the Eastern Time Zone (Greenwich minus 5 hours). What else is there?

Analise, check the setting right below that one:

In addition, you may set the appropriate option to allow for daylight savings time in your part of the world.
DST Correction Option:
I have mine set on automatic.

I just rechecked and mine too is on automatic. Yet it's now working....cool. :D Thanks for your help.

I don't think I really did anything because it fixed itself, but you're welcome in any case!

Maybe DST ends a day later in NY. :p

I too have just sorted this out for myself after times being wrong since the end of October.

I think the labelling of the option "DST always on" is misleading. I (and I think others) had interpreted this as meaning that whenever DST was in force, in the summer, it would always be enabled, rather than what it seems to mean is it will show it summer and winter.

Is there perhaps also a complication because Europe and North America don't always "spring forward" or "fall back" on the same dates?

Dyalight savings is a lot more complicated than that - eg in Australia Queensland doesnt participate, other states change to/from DST on different dates to NZ.

Anyway, I thought that it linked to your OS (eg Windows) settings?

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 1:59 pm.
