Avenue A??
 

When I click on the Forums icon, I get a popup about Avenue A. Spyboy asks me if I want to load it or not. It dosen't matter what I select - yes or no - the page will not load. I have to refresh appx 30 times before all of a sudden, the forum page loads.

This happens with or without my firewall engaged and with or without using my company VPN.

I have not tweaked any security settings before this started and it started appx 1 1/2 months ago.

Any ideas as to how to stop this on my end or is it a revenue stream for flyertalk.com? :td:

Avenue A is an ad, and is attempting to place a cookie.

Even if I accept the cookie - the site does not load. Only the header. It would seem to me that this should be an issue for you. Other sites ask me about Avenue A and when I say no - they load.

Any ideas why your site does not load properly?

Are you using any anti-virus programs? We had an issue earlier with users of the newest Norton having incomplete page loads.

Thanks for continuing to try and help. To log on this time, it took 17 clicks on the forum tab in your header - regardless of my saying yes or no to Ave A.

In addition to Avenue A, make sure you're allowing cookies, etc. from TribalFusion, which is our primary ad company. It seems that overly-restrictive security settings can cause the ads to load improperly, which in turn can cause the page to not load correctly, depending on what operating system and browser you're using.

Also, as a general troubleshooting step, try clearing out your browser's temporary internet files/cache and rebooting your computer.
