tabs for links on the top of the page do not appear.
 
On the top of my office computer's screen I see the tabs from left to right that read, Forums, Help, Chat, Events, Photos, TalkMail, Postcards Reviews and Store. On my home computer's screen they do not appear. How do I correct this?

I think you are in non-frame mode at home. If you enter FT by www.flyertalk.com the tabs should reappear.

It worked and I can now see the tabs. However the problem is that often times I am directed to a thread when I receive an email alerting me to a new post and it doesn't appear.

Sounds like the email pop-up is causing it to revert. Sorry I cant help there as I am not very computer literate.

You are correct as when I go directly to a link for a thread the tabs still disappear. Perhaps one of our FT tech gurus can help us out?

Because FlyerTalk is in a frame set there's no way around that problem.

Wait for a little while and you may see some changes that will resolve the problem.
