My post got deleted...why me
I have sent this to several other moderators awating an excuse why one of my posts was deleted but I found this secton and thought maybe i'll give it a try.
Must have been earlier this week or last week that I made a thread in the "Airline"--Northwest section. It was a thread about a rumor of a Northwest strike that my travel agent told me. There were 2 responses, one an off topic non sense post, and another 2 paragraph post by a very informative user. I replied and said thanks. Although still a little confused. A day later I went to check that thread and see if maybe someone else might have responded....ITS GONE, the thread was deleted by a moderator! I'm not sure if this is a standardized thing among the moderators by deleting threads after the problem is solved? :confused: :confused: :mad: :td: |
Can I ask how you know a moderator deleted your thread?
It could have been a system problem... or deleted by FT staff. Just wondering how you know it was a moderator. William |
Well I ran a "threads started by user" search and it turned up all threads by me except for the one that I mentioned that must have been deleted.
And yes I suppose it could have been deleted by FT staff. |

I received an email from Radiocycle, a moderator for NW:
I deleted it because of the following: 1) It was misinformation and not factual. 2) Northwest forum topics should be about earning frequent flyer points or the Worldperks program, this topic did not belong here. 3) There was a subsequent inappropiate post to this topic that further indicated this topic did not belong on FT. |
