Seeing New Posts without Omni
I don't know if it is possible, but I would like to be able to click on New Posts and get the travel threads without all the Omni threads.
I just went through the first three pages of New Posts and 25% of all the threads are Omni threads. I use Flyertalk for Travel info and I really don't care about all the other issues which take up the biggest proportion of threads on Flyertalk. My biggest complaint is that in the old Flyertalk format I could just look through the airline and hotel threads and avoid all the Omni stuff. I have an interest in most frequent flyer and hotel programs so I find scanning New Posts is the easiest way to see what is being discussed without missing threads I find helpful. I like the fact that I now see many of the threads from TravelBuzz that I used to miss, but I feel it takes a lot more of my time because I now am also having to scan through all the Omni threads. |
How to Customize Searching New Posts or Threads
It is possible, satori.

Best of all, if you like how the Search function works as described below, you can save your Search preferences so that this method of searching for new posts or threads will become the default for you and you do not have to configure this setup again! How to do this is included in the instructions detailed below. To view new posts or threads in all forums except for the OMNI forum:
I hope this helps you, satori. |
