searching...any fix coming?
 

Since the site re-write you can only search one forum at a time. Is there any fix coming for this to allow searching all forums within one of the four sites?

As much as we'd like to bring this functionality back, until we can get better server performance, we have to keep the search limited to single forums since it's such a large drain on the hardware.

Michael and our tech team are currently working on a couple major steps that we believe will alleviate some of this slowness. It doesn't necessarily mean we'll bring back global searching, but we'll see. The most important thing is to allow people to get into the forums, post and read without excessive lag. Once we can pass that hurdle, we'll look into adding a more robust search.
