This exact scenario just started happening to me a couple weeks ago. I haven’t changed anything with cookies or ad-blocks.
Anyway to fix this?

That feature was discontinued when the JUNE 6TH, 2024 UPDATE was rolled out:
IBJoel, I think you guys should start from scratch and rebuild FT. So many tech issues since COVID. |

For what it’s worth, I have not received a single notification for notquiteaff style mentions since the quote notification feature was removed. Definitely not a workaround.

NB: "My Recent Posts" should really be titled "My Recent Threads", since it returns a list of threads where one has recently posted.

For some reason, both the mobile and desktop versions have now stopped showing me if I have been quoted in a thread. It used to be under the Bell icon. Where's it gone?

I know where it is, but what I was trying to say is that no one had actually used it to “flag” me since the demise of the quote notifications, so as a replacement it clearly isn’t working. I even encouraged the use of this feature in my signature for about two weeks… didn’t help. [...] "Here's an idea, let's remove a functional feature and require the entire user base that contributes to the forum to learn a new, manual procedure when posting. And by the way, that user base also needs to learn a different manual procedure to see if anyone else has learned the first procedure." |
In post #90, it was suggested that mentions could be used temporarily while a fix for quotes was being implimented.
IBJoel is the plan still to reimpliment the Quote feature and if so is there an aproximate timeline on that fix? Regards |

I'm one of the people who mentioned you, and I did it because you encouraged use of mentions,

I cannot see a way to delete this Private Message (PM), unlike all other previous PMs.
 Does this inability to delete the tracking reports mean they could fill up my PM Inbox such that I won't be able to send any more PMs? To be safer I have change my Tracked Keyword Alert from Daily to Weekly. . . . I suppose, to be really safe, I could change the notification method from PM to e-mail, if we cannot find a method to delete the PMs such that they don't fill up my PM Inbox. |

Is there any information on deleting the Tracked Keyword Alert (Weekly) PMs?
Check the box to the right of the PM (while looking at your general inbox) Scroll to the bottom and click "delete" from the drop down menu |

I'm not certain what method you're using to delete your other PMs, but I could delete the Keyword ones no problem.
Check the box to the right of the PM (while looking at your general inbox) Scroll to the bottom and click "delete" from the drop down menu https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f3691ccd73.jpg Instead, there is a "garbage can" Delete symbol within each PM to delete it. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...16e870826e.jpg However, for my Tracked Keyword Alert PMs there is no Delete symbol. :( https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b3c45a226b.jpg |
