search function again
 

I'm unable to search certain threads...Marriott Bonvoy Hotels in Bangkok, for instance, in the Marriott forum. I'm trying to find posts I know are in the thread without scrolling for hours, and while the 'search' link flashes when I click, nothing happens. anyone else?

it's happening on other threads also, but--strangely--not all threads.

To be clear, you are using the "Search This Thread" function? Or the general sitewide search function?

correct, 'search this thread.'

it's repeatable when I use the general search function to find the thread, then try to search the thread itself.

ETA: adding on, it seems to be on larger threads--no issue on shorter threads, and upon further investigation doesn't seem to matter how I get to the thread...but I'm unable to search the longer ones (which are, of course, the ones I'm most likely to want to search).
