Searching By Specific Dates
 

Given that these forums have been around for awhile, I like to go back and read threads from different dates in history and see what the community was saying at the time. However, I've found that search only has certain relative selections for dates (last month, last year, etc.) and you cannot search for "between this date and this date". Does anyone know of a way to do that?

For example, the Northeast Blackout occurred on August 14, 2003 and instead of pulling up the Continental forum, United forum, PM Delta forum, etc. and sorting by thread start date and clicking through pages of threads, I would like to be able to run a search to show all threads started on that date in selected forums.

I don't think it's possible, but figured I would post here and see if anyone had any suggestions or found a way to do it.

This is a function that is available on newer, unsupported versions of the software, but it does appear that you've found the most efficient workaround
