Recent Poor Response Time?
 
Are others experiencing noticeably slow response times in the past month or so? The time to go from page to page and back is much longer than other sites. This is a recent phenomenon, and is not happening on other sites.

Does IB track site performance through external 3rd party measurement sites? Is there some new ad delivery system that has been deployed? During the delayed response I see access to "api.permutive.com", whatever that is.

Just me?

ETA: Typically use Firefox, but similar issue using Chrome

We track major slowdowns/crashes, but I don't know about using a third party to track general speed. I have a Chrome plug-in that measures page-load time, and this page took 1.0 seconds. Are there any specific pages that you find are very slow?

No, my browsing method is to click on "New Posts", then scroll through recent posts. Both the search itself and subsequent clicks on threads seem to take longer than previously. In previous IT jobs, we paid external companies to track availability and response time of our sites. I thought perhaps IB also might have data on your own performance as seen by customers.

Bottom line for me, performance has lagged in the past 3-4 weeks consistently, though response time is not totally awful. I just thought that maybe some new ad delivery tool or tracking "enhancement" was deployed that might have impacted response time.
