Spam to flyertalk forum email address
 

Hey folks. Regular lurker and infrequent poster here. I wanted to check and see if others are seeing a similar pattern in their email inbox.

Starting on August 12, I began receiving click-bait-filled, newsletter-like emails to the email address that I use here at flyertalk (it is a unique email I only use here on the forums). In the last 8 days it is up to 30 of these newsletters. The emails are from "RightVsLeft" <[email protected]> or "BlabberBuzz..." <[email protected]>.

Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

I have often found that this kind of uptick in spam to an email address I have only given to one company indicates some kind of data breach. I am suggesting this is the case here but if others are seeing the same kind of activity, it might be worth looking into.
