Lots of ad hijacking today.

Ipad, Safari. 12.1

giftcenterevents.world is what shows as the address.

I disabled mobile version in the settings. I really helps a lot. Otherwise this forum is no-go at all on iOS.

For the last 3 days, I am constantly annoyed by the same ad that takes control. Thanks for your action.

I got 3 different ads within 5 minutes just now, but with a FT history of only 1 post apparently I am not allowed to add screenshot images? It keeps saying that I don't have enough posts to include URLs (which I am not trying to do...)

Any other way to report these? 3 screenshots available.

Chrome 71 on Android, currently in Belgium but based in Germany. Note that the ads were in German even though my phone language is not German, so the ad provider must have stored that information somehow in the past.

This is unfortunate, but it’s part of the thoughtful FlyerTalk spam control protocols developed over the years. Blame the new would-be spammer members who post prohibited commercial content; new member’s posts with such inclusions posts now go to a moderation queue for approval or other appropriate moderator action. (We deal with these on a daily basis, and members never get to see them - a good thing.)

If you like, please PM the screenshots to me or directly to IBobi (to both in case one of us might be away); they can be followed up on that way.

I hope those ads will be removed very quickly. Today is even worse than yesterday. They are popping up every 30s making the site unusable. For instance to type this very short post, I had to do it outside FT and copy & paste the text.

It is really not acceptable that we have to face those problems so often :mad:
