Mobile keyboard issues

Mobile browser info above in the screenshot. I use voice to text on my phone very frequently, in many applications.
I
FT, I have some recurring issues. If I'm using voice to text and I start using it at the beginning of a post, it will repeat the first word that is translated to text. This happens nowhere else but FT.

If I'm editing text, and I go to select a word, it very frequently either deletes the word or moves it to another location or pastes another word into the center of this word. Again, all functions that I perform in other applications with no issues.

I know there were some recent software updates, but these issues predate the mid August update.

Okay so I'm replying to you with voice to text and it seems okay so far I'm keeping an eye on as it keeps you don't realize the text generates so there's some errands [errors] but I think [that's my] speaking. I'm also speaking on an Android although it is Android 7 I want to say let me check my other set settings as well.

EDIT: Sorry, it's Android 8.4 and Chrome 84. Have these issues been going on since forever? Or since an Android update?

Hard to say how long of an issue it has been. At least several months, but prepandemic I did not post from my phone as frequently as I am these days. so it may have existed as an issue for years and I am only just noticing it this year.
