draft posts
Say I am writing a trip report, is it possible to start writing a post and then come back to it a few days later?
Is there a draft location somewhere? |

I don't think so. I always write TRs in word and then copy/paste and format them on FT.

Is there a draft location somewhere? For lengthier reports you don’t want to lose work on, writing with (your favorite word or notes processor), or use the FT Preview utility. But use the latter only if you’re planning to finish in one session. |
I decided to try out different editor options to see what they offered ... the one I'm using as I write this:
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7d7b25d098.png Has been periodically displaying "Auto-Saved" in the lower-right corner of the editor window as I type. When I back out without posting then start a new post I see, in the lower left corner of the editor window: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e65db787b2.png So it looks like a "draft" option is available, but only for the last post created/edited. Given the number of times I've had an in-process post disappear due to a network or server disruption (or, um, PEBCAK), this is a very much appreciated feature! |
