Another most pathetic irritation (large banner at top of flyertalk)
(mods-feel free to merge this with the most pathetic wiki.)
Am I the only person here getting irritated with this:
NoticesThis darned thing consumes 100% of my computer screen real estate on each and every thread I go to. Seems like there would be a way to either reduce the size of this, or simply email every ft'er with the details. Countless and precious time getting wasted by having to scroll down a page on every thread.

Do you not see a red X in to the top right corner? I saw it, clicked it, the page went away and hasn't reappeared again!

Is the huge logo and need to scroll 2 pages to see content trying to make up for the infinitesimal size of post previews?
