Cursor focus on Search menus
 

Viewing the forums on my PC browser...

For the menu items that bring up a search box, can the cursor focus be auto-positioned into the search field when the menu search is selected?

This includes at least
- Search on the main white-on-blue menu bar
- Search this forum
- Search this thread

For each of these, I have to click the menu item to invoke the search field, then click a second time inside the search field. It would be much more user friendly to let the user start typing the search terms after the first click.

Understood. We will pass along the suggestion, but as this forum product is off-the-rack, it's unlikely they would make changes based off a single report.
