All the pictures in my TRs are not being displayed anymore - even though it should be fine (they are still in the image host server etc.). Is this known/connected to this "upgrade"?

Examples:
Madrid to Basel in a Private Jet (Falcon 900EX)

@florens that's because postimg. org no longer exists as a domain. If you change the .org part to .cc your images will reappear.

Images can now be uploaded to FT and placed inline in posts by just clicking the "picture" icon in your edit box.

Interesting. It is working now, I didn't change anything...

Yes, I am aware of that, thank you.

Good morning, IBobi. I've just opened, on desktop, PPRuNe NG ... www.pprune.org
What an attractive presentation, with clear separation between Sticky and Normal threads and shading behind the Thread page number indicators. Indeed, PPRuNe also seems to have addressed most of the concerns being expressed here at FlyerTalk.

As you are Administrator for both websites, dare one hope that FT will be PPRuNed in a similar manner in the near future?

I know in the past, some cosmetic issues were solved by Control/Shift+Refreshing or clearing cookies. Did either of those actions help?

I think someone at IB did us a favor. They have a filter that changes .org to .cc if followed by postimg. My original response to your post was also changed as well because of this filter. I tried editing it back to .org and it still showed up as .cc, indicating a filter.

@IBJoel, no - no effect. If you repro it on Win 10 / IE 11 do you not see this problem?

If that's the case, what's the point of having the icon which we're all used to using for images? Am using Chrome on laptop, Win 7.

Cheers.
Must have been a glitch as I didn't change anything & now the icon works.

Cheers.

@IBobi, I tried this on Firefox as well, and get the same. Search results (for example the User -> My Recent Posts link at top right) do not use bold / unbold to differentiate threads with / without new posts .

Are the issues in this thread still being worked on? It seems to be going the same way as ARCHIVE: FT 15 Nov 2017 Upgrade Tech Thread - 2017 BUG REPORTS where after a while we just got left with "as is" rather than continuing to work through the backlog.

I'd be keen to know this, too.

Maybe what we should do is to start a wikipost here to list the unfixed bugs, of which there are still a significant number.

Sorry, I haven't read this whole thread but I have two questions.

What's the difference between a 'quick reply' and a 'reply'?

Also, using my iPad, I find when replying the current line I'm typing moves up so that I can't see it. I drag it down but it goes up again. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

I had this happen the other day on my iPhone. I never use FT on my iPhone (if I can help it) but I had a question I needed a quick answer to. It was quite annoying. I don't think you're doing anything wrong; it's the site/software interacting with mobile. (FWIW, I was in Chrome/latest on iOS 11.4 public beta 4.)

Quick reply will just give you a blank text box to reply with, reply will give you the text box but include any quotes you've added with the multi-quote button. I think you get the more advanced WYSIWYG editor too.
