How to post a thread to ask a question

I am trying to ask a question in the forum but don't know how to post a thread.

My question is, I recently got in trouble with TSA for being drunk and was sent a violation. Is there anyway to get out of it? I have 30 days to respond. Thank you.

Welcome to FlyerTalk.

The best place to go is the Practical Travel Safety and Security Issues forum (link) and start a new post, as you did here, with a title like “How to clear TSA violation?”

You might also consider requesting a handle / username change to protect your privacy. See Change user name / username / handle: Can I? How? (if your name is your current handle).

Tap Air Portugal misconduct over 50% off campaign

I wanted to post this. I believe it’s some serious misconduct from TAP. Where should this go?:

>>
Anyone who made a booking during the 50% off period earlier this month, are you unsatisfied with your ticket for any reason? Please contact me.

TAP were operating a misleading campaign by selling fully flexible tickets under the promotion for a significantly higher amount than the restrictive tickets, even though the promotion did not allow for any changes or cancellations. So they were selling you a ticket which they said was fully flexible—and took the extra money for, then refused to honour the ticket’s flexible conditions.

This amounts to bad faith, acquiring revenue through deceptive practice, a clear violation of the EU passenger charter. If you bought a ticket originating from a UK destination it is also a violation of the Advertising Standards Agency regulations, and most seriously the UK Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Act.
TAP are not admitting any fault whatsoever and are refusing to honour their own ticket conditions.
This is clear misconduct. I am about to file numerous complaints against TAP with the regulators, so do please reach out and contact me if you have had a bad experience yourself.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, chocksawayyy. Thank you, IB_Villalobos, for responding.

We will close this thread for now, as there’s a more current thread regarding starting new threads going right now, with illustrated instructions.
