Some ways to reverse new features

1) Disabling infinite scroll:
  • Go to My FlyerTalk Control Panel
    • Edit options
      • Disable Infinite Scroll

2) Restore previous post editing options:
  • Go to My FlyerTalk Control Panel
    • Settings and Options
      • Miscellaneous Options
        • Message Editor Interface and select “Standard Editor -- extra formatting controls” (you may see odd behavior in this unsupported editor)

NOTE: For ease of both members posting and Technical Support, this thread has been split into two threads for 2018; one exclusively for MOBILE devices, the other for DESKTOP devices. You can find them here:

I have to open the list at the left of the page to access and click on the following:

MyFlyerTalk
Hotel Reviews

Like the loss of the MyFlyerTalk link at the bottom of posts, it's not a big deal but it's mildly annoying to see the site become less rather than more convenient for members.

Is this a bug or a feature?

@ibobi
Seems like you have a browser issue and/or an adblocker issue. Turn off ......., clear cache. Still a problem? Post a screen shot and tell us your browser and device.

If it ain't broke don't fix it

How could such a sloppy mistake be made (and not checked)
If it ain't broke don't fix it

Well, there are two separate issues. One is the embedding of the full Twitter post with its big box, photo, and date/time. The other is that the hyperlinked text is not appearing.

I understand that you're saying you want the entire Twitter post to appear, but you also want hyperlinked text to disappear?

But I didn't do any manual markup code in the first place. I clicked the Quote button on another post, highlighted a word within the quote, and then clicked the slanted I button (italics) just above the text box.

When I hit Submit Reply, the system itself added the letter i within the bracket.

So something is not working correctly at the intersection between quoted text and italics.

Isn't the link the twitter link? If so, then yes, that's what will happen if you hyperlink to a tweet.

This is what I see when I post a numbered list. The double-digits are a tad close to the side of the column, but not a biggie.

Working ok here on Chrome, with the default text editor...

And this is what my post looks like to me. I even turned the adblocker off(is it really necessary to get spammed with 4 amex ads on a single page?) I tried Firefox and it renders correctly.

‘My threads’ still not working

Hello. The title says it all. It takes me to threads I started, not ones to which I have contributed. Is there a plan to fix this?
