list tag line break glitches, esp. with new WYSIWYG editor
VB has always been glitchy with the "list" tag and line breaks.
I had a really nice set of examples typed out, but trying to use the [noparse] tags and things to show what I am trying to do created a really messy post.
So, here's what I want a list to look like--pay special attention to the line breaks:
This is the text before a list.
This is the text after a list.
Now, can you guys play around with both the plain-text and WYSIWYG editors (and the Source function of the WYSIWYG editor) and see how difficult it is to recreate that?
Also, try previewing the post before saving and also editing a posted post and see what happens. Hopefully you can understand my frustration...

Here's what happens by default when I use the WYSYWIG editor to make a list that looks like the one I made above:
This is the text before a list. This is the text after a list.
Notice how the line breaks are different than they are in my OP.

And now here's the same list created in the standard editor after I turned the WYSIWYG editor off:
This is the text before a list.
This is the text after a list.
Notice the missing line break before the list, even though I inserted one in my post (you may be able to see what I entered if you try to edit my post). To get it to display the way I want (with a blank line after the opening paragraph), I have to double-space it. I have to do something similar in the WYSIWYG editor, but it's even more cantankerous there, and I often have to muck around with the WYSIWYG editor's "source" function to get it to display the way I want. (FT convention is double spacing between paragraphs, so it looks ugly to have it all mashed together without a blank line between paragraphs.)
