For Allstate. Instantly annoying -- and because they are footer banners, which don't appear in view until you scroll to the bottom of the page, random audio blares from each new FT page I load.

Autoplay audio is a web marketing taboo. I have to kill my speakers to surf FT. Can't we put a stop to this stupid practice?

Yes, to my knowledge, they should not be appearing. Could you send us a screenshot of the ad so we can take it down?
