Old Threads in Reverse Chronological Order?

The first information is 10 years old (hypothetical).

In this age of constant change in airlines' policy, would it not be best if FT threads went in reverse chronological order? The latest post read first?

Searching and then going through pages and pages of outdated information is somewhat painful. Plus, well meaning members answer a decade old query without regard for whatever the most recent question might be.

This is an option you can set yourself. Go to your Control Panel by clicking on MyFlyerTalk, select 'Edit Options' under Settings & Options, select 'Linear - Newest First' under Thread Display Options - Thread Display Mode. Scroll down and click 'Save Changes'. I have tried it briefly and abandoned it since I found it difficult to follow any discussion but the option is available if you want to use it.

This would be a better fit for the Technical Support forum.
