Youtube links
 

I use the Mobile version of FT. Recently I realized that I don't see links in the main thread postings for Youtube. However if I then quote the post that contains one, it then appears in the quote section of my post. However if I then post the same link outside the quote (in my portion of the post) it doesn't appear when I look at the thread.

For example.


While I can see the above in normal viewing mode, when I switch to Mobile it disappears, yet is of course there. This only happens with youtube links, no others. If I then quote this message, it will appear in Mobile mode in the quoted section.

Couple of other users I know have reported the same issue. I believe it has to do with the fact that in normal mode the link causes the video to actually appear. However in Mobile mode nothing appears, not even the text associated with the link, unless it's been quoted.

Although I know videos don't appear on mobile, I've asked tech to see if a URL can appear in its place.

Update on this: Tech is currently working on implementing full video functionality on Mobile
