Talkmail Page Missing Archived Issues

Hello,

In the Talkmail newsletter we receive via email, there is a portion near the end of each one that states:

Have you missed reading any issues of the Talkmail newsletter over the years? No problem! They are always accessible to you-...

When you go to the page http://www.flyertalk.com/talkmail/ ; the issues from May 9, 2005 to present do not appear. There is a link to open the page for the older versions http://www.flyertalk.com/talkmail/old_archive.php that includes a drop down for each issue, but again nothing for the issues since that date. I don't know if there is an issue with the specific webpage or if I am missing something.

Since I receive my emails in my phone, but view FlyerTalk on my laptop, I would like to be able to see these previous newsletters. Please advise...

Thank you for reporting that anomaly; I see no newsletters after 11 May 2005 available, as you do.

I am able to read archived TalkMail newsletters from 11 May 2005 and prior using the dropdown bar.

This will be read by Admin, who will forward the issue to Tech to see what's going on.

Do either of you remember if more recent archives ever appeared? I have been told by our tech team the due to a change in software in 2005, we no longer kept records of previous mailings.

Nothing since May 2005 appeared.

Then why does it say in every newsletter that they exist? Is there an email address that I can forward the last one to for an example of the verbiage written?

I remember when I first joined, I was able to see them as that is where I found some of the early threads I subscribed to.

Thank you.

Past issues of the TalkMail newsletter after May of 2005 do exist; but there must be a technical issue — probably a simple fix — where they are currently not accessible.

Interestingly, the Archives version is still currently accessible...

Hence my request to Tech Support and this thread.

Hi there, to make clear, we do not keep archives beyond 2005. The system our content team uses also does not keep a record of anything past that point (when we switched systems over). There are no other archives. The system now being used basically sends them out and deletes them. My apologies for the confusion.

What some of us are saying is nothing since May 2005 shows via the newsletter link either.

Every issue of the TalkMail newsletter between 2005 through 2016 have been available via a link that inexplicably disappeared without notice or warning.

Why that link disappeared and not those which have been archived prior to 2005 is beyond me...
