Images appearing in some posts despite show images as off

Can this bug be fixed so not to show images as per setting - or nicely just extend options to disable embedding of items from outside sites

So can the option to exclude images be extended to cover Twitter and Instagram (so they do not display).

They are different pieces of code that don't interact with each other.

So is there a way to disable seeing Twitter or Instagram posts?

None I am aware of. Are there so many that it is a problem?

I'm not worried about it myself, but if someone has in their options to not see images and someone posts a twitter or instagram link that contains an image in their post, the image will still appear.

That's why I was asking - if I didn't want to have ANY images show (due to a slow internet connection, for example), there is no possible way to prevent all images from showing because there is no way to disable seeing twitter or instagram posts. I might suggest this feature be added if possible.
