Database Error on only one thread?

Since yesterday (Oct 4), I have been getting a database error on this one thread-and i've cleared my cache, cookies and history on safari but it's still happening and I even tried using firefox without logging in and going to the thread and I still get a database error yet I see in the forum list that the last post was today (Oct 5) at 8:32AM

I'm also getting the database error on only that thread.

I'm getting database error for multiple threads this morning. Usually happens after I've written a reply/click to post it. It's been quite frustrating, to the point where I'm probably not going to bother posting/stay on FT much today.

MSPeconomist Jun 12, 2017 9:26 am

I've been getting database errors maybe a half dozen times in the last hour or so in multiple fora, including on this thread just now.

ADDED: Posts are also very slow, including this one (done as "post quick reply") from an internet connection that's usually very fast.

ADDED AGAIN: The above addition (edit) to this post gave several database errors before it went through successfully.

I'm encountering the same things as MSPeconomist.

Also, when I exited FT & clicked on the bookmark I received this message too.

"Error establishing a database connection"

The other database error message is to refresh, FT's been notified yada yada. And yes things are running slow.

Cheers.

How's everyone's connection doing now? It was most likely a temporary hiccup.

Just got a database error again, about 20 minutes ago when attempting to access the main URL:

http://www.flyertalk.com

Obviously it's back again now.

Yesterday it got sorted later in the day (presumably after IB arrived Monday morning; they don't fix anything on the weekends, unless the entire site crashes).

I don't consider an 'occasional' database error to be a big deal. But yest was multiple times & the site being slower.

Yest aft & today it's been running fine.

Cheers.

I haven't encountered more such issues in the past couple of hours.

Happening now again.
