Just saw another post that was written by the FTer (nothing imported from another website) & the appeared (see link below*). At one point I thought it might be when someone cut/pasted from other websites, but again - this problem is recent, not old. One of the links I posted above was started in January of this year/was written by the OP of that thread (as is my example below - don't forget to go to the post vs. just copying it).
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/26897235-post1.html * I think I know what essxjay meant (had to re-read a couple of times) & she's mentioned a few, although there are a couple more that are substituting. FWIW - yes I think this is an IB issue, not a user issue. |

essxjay, to put your post into English :p, are you saying that the problem is most likely on FT/IB's end on and not on the users' end? I know when you mentioned Windows, I have a Mac machine so I was somewhat not paying attention after that.

Just saw it happen in this thread:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starw...tay-right.html The OP posted something (not imported from another site) & when a FTer quoted him, the appeared in the quote. It should be noted that the does not just appear in quotes. Cheers. |
I'm seeing this all over the Starwood forum when, I assume, Le Méridien is spelled correctly (using acute 'e').
Example: What is the Le Meridien brand for? Using latest versions of Firefox and Chrome on Win10. |
