Error replying to a post

was doing a reply to post number 1826 ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/26599557-post1826.html ) using the "quote button"

and the post never appeared. I did it again thinking something just went wrong and redid the reply and still did not appear

Looking into it, I can see when clicking on "quote" for that post

in the reply to thread box , rather than a quote of the post , it is a blank box
Under the reply to thread box it states

You have selected 1 post that is not part of this thread. Quote this post as well, or deselect this post.

Looking further down , in the section

Topic Review (Newest First)

rather than there being the recent posts of the thread, I can just see my 2 posts that I did earlier that did not appear in the thread

Quoting other posts in this thread does not cause this same error
